Little plastic ring under the cap of a bottle!

The little plastic ring that is wrapped under the cap of a bottle helps to avoid spillage or leakage. While it does help with some bottles that can be closed, it doesn’t help with bottles that can’t be re-closed like beer bottles. It turns out that the plastic is there to help hold the gasses of the liquid inside so that it doesn’t go flat.
